Human Resources Internship - Summer 2026

Job Overview & Responsibilities

As a Human Resources Intern at United Launch Alliance you'll gain hands-on experience and will have the opportunity to:

  • Focus on HR Policies and Procedures, learn various HR Systems, and gain experience supporting locations that align with a collective bargaining agreement.
  • Support one or more experienced business professionals in performance of assignments and have unique assignments that support key HR initiatives as well as experience the day-to-day workings of the business side of the aerospace industry.

Interns may perform and/or participate in additional activities/events which help them build a strong network within the ULA community and with fellow interns!

Required Education
  • At minimum completed Sophomore year of college or university by the time of the summer internship assignment.
  • High School/GED
Basic Qualifications
  • Must have a minimum college GPA of 2.90 on a 4.00 scale at the time of application: cumulative, no rounding.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and motorized vehicle transportation if assigned an internship in Alabama; California; Florida; or Pueblo, Colorado. For Denver, Colorado and Washington, DC, motorized transportation is recommended.
Role Specific Qualifications
  • At minimum, actively pursuing a bachelor's degree with a focus in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Management, Business, or relevant field from an accredited college or university.
  • Must have plans to be enrolled in classes during Fall Semester 2026.
  • Ability to work full-time for a minimum of 10 weeks during the summer of 2026.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint).
  • Effective presentation, critical thinking, and communication skills.
  • Ability to leverage analytical and quantitative skills while reviewing hard data and/or metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions.
  • Must be able to complete an internship at any of the below United Launch Alliance locations:
    • Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, FL
    • Decatur, AL
    • Denver, CO

Additionally, most salaried ULA team members work a "9/80 schedule," meaning they enjoy every other Friday off.
