Job Description

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of floors, walls, windows, and other surfaces.
• Collect and dispose of waste and recyclables according to guidelines.
• Clean and restock restrooms with necessary supplies.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors; operate floor buffers and other equipment as needed.
• Ensure that cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored.
• Follow safety procedures and protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and report shortages.
• Clean up spills and other accidents promptly and safely.
• Follow all guidelines for infection control and facility cleanliness.
• Report maintenance issues or repairs needed to the appropriate personnel.
• Address any concerns or special requests from staff or visitors professionally.
• Stay updated on training and compliance requirements related to cleaning and safety procedures.

Job Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, and move items, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Strong focus on thorough and accurate cleaning.
• Familiarity with cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment.
• Ability to follow instructions and interact effectively with staff and visitors.
• Understanding and adherence to safety protocols and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Willingness to work various shifts or respond to urgent cleaning needs.
