About the Role
The Company is seeking a US Head of Finance and Accounting with a strong background in prime brokerage, capital markets, or a swap dealer firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for the financial controllership of all Americas financial records, ensuring data integrity, and overseeing the timely preparation of financial records and returns. This role also involves ownership of statutory and regulatory audits, financial regulatory filings, and the preparation of financial updates for external trading partners and investors. The Head of Finance and Accounting will be a key player in financial management reporting, documentation, and will work closely with outsourced partners and the Head of FP&A. Additionally, the role includes treasury and liquidity management reporting, financial forecasting, and the development of management information for the business. Applicants for the US Head of Finance and Accounting position at the company must have a minimum of 15 years' of experience in accounting and finance within the specified sectors. A CPA and Series 27 FINOP License are mandatory. The role requires a candidate with a hands-on approach, experience in managing and developing a team, and a Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in financial management, be adept at working with senior management, and have a strong understanding of financial requirements in a business, including risk framework and regulatory limits. The role is pivotal in the development of financial reporting, banking and payment management, and the optimization of the firm's internal and surplus liquidity.
