POSITION DESCRIPTION

RL Siteworx is seeking a n experienced haul truck driver t o deliver equipment, materials, and other items to all RL’s projects. This role will report directly to the Equipment Manager . The duties of this role require an attitude willing to proactively assist the equipment manager , a personality that is safety and efficiency focused , and a detailed knowledge of all heavy hauling related details.

LOCATION

The role will be based at our corporate office in Pasadena, Texas . Travel for deliveries around greater Houston will be required .

DRIVER PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS

EXPECTATIONS OF DRIVER

• Fully capable of operating all of RL’s equipment fleet without assistance from field personnel.

• Responsible for the loading and unloading of all equipment on all delivery vehicles.

• In possession of a driving record free of accidents and moving violations in the last three (3) years.

• In possession of a criminal record free of convictions in the last three (3) years.

• Complete and detailed knowledge of all DOT regulations.

• Desire to comply with all RL and customer safety requirements.

• Responsible for performing basic maintenance needs on delivery vehicles (18 wheelers to pickup trucks).

• Responsible and accountable for reporting all maintenance and upkeep concerns to the Equipment Manager.

• Responsible for accurate , reliable, and effective communication to all internal and external stakeholders.

• Responsible for tracking daily and weekly activity priorities while adjusting as needed based on communication with the Equipment Manager.

• Responsible for the creation, maintenance, and reporting of all log books .

• Responsible for the creation, maintenance, and reporting of all milage, fuel consumption, consumable, etc.

• Responsible for keeping all delivery vehicles in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.

• Responsible for filing all permits as needed for the completion of all deliveries.

• Responsible for being intimately familiar with all project locations, delivery locations on project sites, etc.

• Responsible for coordinating with foreman prior to equipment delivery.

• Accountable for keeping the delivery vehicle clean and looking presentable as a great marketing tool for RL Siteworx.

• Responsible for assisting yard crew(s)/ shop worker(s) between dispatches.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma .

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Not less than 3 years of similar work experience in the transportation and/or construction industry.

• References should be provided.
