Job Title: General Production Worker Job Description We are seeking dependable and hardworking individuals to join our team as General Production Workers on the 1st shift. This position is vital in the manufacturing process, focusing on operating tube bending equipment and preparing stainless steel tubing for shipment. Ideal candidates will be comfortable with repetitive tasks, physically demanding work, and maintaining a steady workflow throughout the shift. Responsibilities Operate and monitor the production line responsible for bending stainless steel tubing. Cut tubing to specified lengths and feed it into the bending machine. Manually guide and hold tubing during the bending process to ensure accuracy and consistency. Remove bent tubing from the line, bundle in groups of 25–30 pieces, and prepare for shipment. May be assigned to operate a CNC bender or serve as a parts runner as needed. Essential Skills Experience in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in machine operation and tube bending. Attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods. Ability to read and write English. Capability to stand on feet for 10-hour shifts. At least 6 months of job experience in production, fast food, manufacturing, labor, or landscaping. Additional Skills & Qualifications Strong hand-eye coordination. Nice to have attention to detail. The schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, totaling 40 hours per week, including two paid breaks and one 30-minute unpaid lunch. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shelby Township, Michigan. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
