Position Title: General Labor

Wage: $13.00/Hour

Shift: 1st Shift

Hours: 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM Monday - Thursday & Friday 6:00 AM - 10:00 AM

QPS is hiring for a leading hydraulic manufacturer in Hampton, Iowa, known for delivering custom-engineered cylinders to top global equipment makers since 1976. With in-house chrome plating, steel casting, and the ability to build cylinders up to 30” in diameter and 420” in length. They are looking for a couple of dedicated workers for fill their general labor openings. General Labor Responsibilities:
- Properly cleaning the outside of the CNC Machine with soap, water, and bleach
- Hand and spray painting the interior walls of the facility
- Maintaining all equipment and products utilized to ensure proper application
- Utilizing a step ladder and/or a scissor lift when completing tasks (after company training)
- Ensuring all proper PPE and safety guidelines are being followed

Requirements For General Labor:
- Able to lift, push, or pull up to 50lbs
- Ability to bend, twist, stand, or kneel throughout an 8-10 hour shift
- Ability to communicate with team members by reading, writing, speaking, and listening
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods of time
- Candidates *MUST HAVE* a proven track record of several years of solid work history. Please include details of your work experience on your resume
- Entry level with no necessary skills required
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to learn and adapt new skills
