PeopleShare is hiring for Full Charge Bookkeepers in Newport News, VA.

Job Details for Full Charge Bookkeeper:

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM (Hybrid - Primarily Remote Once Established)
• Pay: $60,000 - $70,000 + Bonus (Based on Sales)
• Location: Newport News, VA

Job Description for Full Charge Bookkeeper:

• Manage full-cycle bookkeeping, including AP/AR, payroll, and reconciliations
• Oversee AIA documentation (pay applications, schedules of values, lien waivers)
• Prepare financial reports (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow)
• Collaborate with CPA on tax filings, audits, and financial compliance
• Ensure payroll processing and month-end/year-end close are accurate and timely

Job Requirements for Full Charge Bookkeeper:

• Proven experience as a full-cycle Bookkeeper
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop & Excel
• Experience with AIA documentation
• Associate's degree in accounting or bookkeeping certification (preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
