Job Requirements Skills You Bring To this Role:Experience in embedded system development in areas such as: System architecture design, derivation of system, software, and component level requirements, design and development of system architecture, system redundancy management, fault management, crew alerting, flight management, aircraft autonomy, actuation (hydraulic or electric), and system integration, verification, and validation in desktop integrated lab environments, pilot in the loop simulated environments, and/or on flight test aircraft.Experience/Familiarity with the Development and test in accordance with appropriate commercial or military regulatory requirements, such as: RTCA DO-160, MIL-STD-810, RTCA DO-178, RTCA DO-254, SAE ARP4754A, SAE ARP4761, AMACC, 14 CFR Part 27 and Part 29 for commercial and military qualification and certification of aircraft systemsExperience/Familiarity with software development in an embedded or real-time operating systems (RTOS) environment utilizing Model Based Design (MBD) techniques with tools such as MathWorks MATLAB / Simulink with Stateflow and Embedded Coder.Experience/Familiarity with the hardware and software associated with Flight Control Systems, Avionics, Electrical System, engine controllers (e.g. FADECs), inertial sensors, air data computers, analog sensors, mission systems, crew stations, and/or actuation devicesExperience/Familiarity with System Safety Assessments, Failure Hazard Analysis, and Certification/Test plansMultiple levels will be considered for this position with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experienceWhat you need to be successfulWe are looking for inquisitive and driven engineers with a passion to innovate.
