About the role:

As a Fab & Install Electrician B you will fabricate and install conduit, cable, breakers, junction boxes, control panels and structural components in an operating industrial manufacturing facility. Pull, terminate and splice cable and wire. Move, assemble and install all types and sizes of machinery and equipment

You will report to the Maintenance Team Manager and be located at Columbia, SC. You will be onsite 100%.

Key Responsibilities:
    \n
  • Fit, cut, bend, grind, thread and torch metal and other materials following engineered drawings and specifications.
  • \n
  • Assemble conduit, cable tray, bus duct, machinery, panels, breakers, switchgear and structural members in fabrication shop and plant locations.
  • \n
  • Measure, bend, cut and fit small and large bore (3 and 4") conduit Pull and terminate cable, wire and fiber optic cable.
  • \n
  • Transport, rig and hoist materials and equipment.
  • \n
  • Read and interpret drawings, schematics and specifications.
  • \n

Qualifications:
    \n
  • High School diploma or GED
  • \n
  • 5 years related experience in industrial construction or fabrication.
  • \n
  • Can demonstrate basic mechanical skills in fabrication, cable installation, and terminations. NFPA 70E qualified.
  • \n
  • Can respirator qualification.
  • \n
