Job Description
Global K9 Protection Group LLC is looking for an experienced, dedicated, and passionate 3PK9 Explosive Detection K9 Handler to serve as an integral part of the security Team.
Responsibilities: Canine handlers conduct screening operations for explosive and other hazardous materials while working with a trained Explosive Detection Canine. Handlers are responsible for maintaining administrative records for work and training.
Canine handlers are provided a monthly stipend for cost of feed and veterinarian care. Additionally, handlers are provided K9 homecare pay for the housing, care, and maintenance of assigned canine. Canine handlers are responsible for maintaining administrative records.

• Paid training if the candidate is required to attend a four-week 3PK9 training/pairing and certification at the GK9S Training facility in Opelika, AL. For training & Certification: The Hander will be paid the local training hourly rate of $24.49 (75% of payrate).
