Indy Fresh Catering Event Coordinator

Indy Fresh Catering is currently seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team as our new Event Coordinator. Indy Fresh prides itself on providing high quality staffed events for all personal and professional occasions, and our sales volume and growth offers a great opportunity for a passionate and skilled individual to flourish.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with our clients across varied communication platforms to plan everything related to the food service for their events
• Write BEOs that match the scope of the events and communicates all salient details in clear and concise language for both the client and our event staff
• Manage the training, staffing and evaluations of our event staff
• Track and analyze labor for staffed events
• Maintain the organization and inventory of our event equipment
• Maintain positive, consistent communication with our established venue partners, and seek new opportunities with new or infrequently used venues

Requirements

• Professional, interpersonal verbal and writing skills
• Time management/Task oriented
• Flexibility/being able to handle complications on the fly
• 3-5 years of event experience (1-2 years in a lead/supervisory or coordinator role)
• Weeknight and weekend availability in addition to weekday
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Reliable transportation

Compensation & Benefits

• $55,000 - $70,000 per year (base plus commission)
