Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Obtain permits, operating and construction, to support company’s business functions.
• Submit environmental reports, state and federal, ensuring environmental regulatory compliance.
• Monitor existing and proposed environmental laws and regulations that could potentially affect operations and keep key stakeholders advised.
• Evaluate and focus on environmental strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and identify/manage environmental risks.
• Cultivate relationships with external regulators and peers at other common facilities/operations and trade groups to understand and influence environmental agendas.
• Work with stakeholder groups on regulatory developments understanding the potential compliance strategies and providing comments on draft regulations.
• Provide expertise in the area of groundwater environmental issues, including compliance management and processes.
• Develop and maintain O&M and capital budgets, manage consultants and outside compliance management costs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with a background in environmental regulatory processes and 10 years related technical experience.
• Must be a PE or an EIT with ability to attain a PE.
