Job Description

The Role: Dispensary Inventory Manager

Our Client seeks a detail-oriented Inventory Manager to oversee all aspects of inventory operations at our dispensary. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance, optimizing stock levels, and leading a team of inventory staff to maintain accuracy, efficiency, and product quality.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, extensive inventory management experience, and a deep understanding of cannabis regulations.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and execute inventory strategies to meet demand and minimize discrepancies
  • Oversee receiving, storage, and distribution of cannabis products and supplies
  • Ensure compliance with state and local cannabis regulations and support audit processes
  • Analyze inventory data to forecast needs, identify trends, and generate reports
  • Lead, mentor, and train inventory staff while fostering a culture of compliance and accuracy
  • Implement best practices for inventory handling, storage, and security
  • Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to ensure product availability
  • Address and resolve discrepancies, overstock, and inventory-related issues

What We’re Looking For:

  • 21+ years of age with ability to pass a federal background check
  • High School Diploma required; additional education preferred
  • Previous retail or warehouse inventory experience
  • Proficiency with inventory management systems, MS Excel, and METRC/Dutchie Backoffice
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with experience managing a team
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and a flexible schedule
  • Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 40 lbs
