Dental Receptionist (Cross-Trained) Job Description Greenville, NC

About the Opportunity

We are looking for a dependable, articulate, and customer service-oriented Dental Receptionist to join our team in Greenville, NC. This is a unique opportunity to work in an Endodontic office where you will also have the chance to be cross-trained in some aspects of dental assisting. No prior dental experience is required just a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to learn!

Responsibilities

As a Dental Receptionist, your primary duties will include:

• Greeting patients with a warm, friendly demeanor and providing exceptional customer service.
• Answering phones, scheduling appointments, and managing the office calendar.
• Verifying insurance information and processing patient payments.
• Maintaining a clean and organized front desk area.
• Utilizing office software to update patient records and ensure accuracy.
• Coordinating with the clinical team to ensure a smooth patient flow.

As part of cross-training, you will also:

• Assist in setting up and breaking down operatories.
• Learn to take basic dental radiographs (training provided).
• Support sterilization protocols and instrument preparation.
• Assist with other dental tasks as needed under supervision.

Qualifications

• Dependable and punctual with strong attention to detail.
• Articulate communicator with excellent verbal and written skills.
• Strong customer service background, with a focus on patient care and satisfaction.
• Comfortable using computers and learning new software.
• Willingness to be cross-trained and take on new challenges.
• Ability to work Monday through Friday.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour (based on experience).
