Job Description
Individual will coordinate everyday tasks involved in the construction process. Such tasks may include but are not limited to; Scheduling and management of sub-contractors, implementing and understanding project administration requirements, creating and updating projects schedules, meeting or exceeding construction schedules, quality control management of project, control and scheduling of all field inspections and verification that project work complies with contract documents. Individual should be able to define, articulate and assure that installations and finishes meet company required standards. Individual will also need to be able to manage the estimating, negotiating of contracts, and purchasing for small items within the project.
Requirements for Position: Company seeks competent, self-motivated individual that excels in problem solving and communication skills and is well versed in commercial construction applications. This position will require traveling. It is preferred that individual has completed bachelor’s degree in building construction management or other related construction major, or have adequate field experience. Individual must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as civil, architectural and mechanical drawings, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Individual must be computer literate and competent in Internet software, Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
