Private Duty Caregiver Masonicare at Home Per Diem/Hourly Personal and Companion Care Positions are available throughout the state in Connecticut. CASES AVAILABLE NOW -12 hr shift availability – Days or Overnights Shifts available - 12hrs/day *It is not required for this role, but Masonicare offers great perks and benefits to its employees - We will pay for your CNA Certification * If you have reliable transportation and are willing to learn, we will train you! There is no job more meaningful and rewarding than helping someone who cannot help themself. Masonicare at Home is Masonicare's non-medical homecare agency. We are currently hiring private caregivers and homemakers for live-in OR hourly live-out work throughout the state. Our hourly services require a 3 hour minimum. Many of our clients are located in Masonicare facilities throughout the state of CT (Wallingford, Mystic, and Chester – AND COMING SOON Shelton, Farmington, and Newington). Community based clients are available as well. Caregivers assist in a variety of ways to keep clients safe, entertained, and active at home. Duties may include: Conversation and general companionship Light Housekeeping Changing bed and bath linens Laundry Meal Prep Running errands Medication reminders Assist with phone calls, appointment scheduling, mail Recreation: reading, games, crafts, outdoor/indoor walks, etc. Drive or accompany client to appointments: doctor, hair salon, nail salon, etc. Bathing, dressing, oral hygiene, hair/skin care and feeding. Toileting and incontinence Care Assisting with exercises, ambulation and transfer activities privateduty
