Civil CAD Designer - Land Development & Infrastructure

Title: Civil CAD Designer - Land Development & Infrastructure

Location: Pleasanton, CA (94588) OR Roseville, CA (95678)

Pay Range: $80,000 - $117,000

This full-time, on-site opportunity is ideal for a CAD professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about land development and public infrastructure. You'll work alongside engineers, surveyors, and project managers to transform concepts into detailed plans that support residential, commercial, and civic projects across the region. Whether drafting roadway improvements or preparing subdivision maps, your work will directly contribute to the growth and sustainability of the built environment. 

What You Will Be Doing

• Produce detailed civil design drawings for land development and public infrastructure projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Draft roadway, grading, utility improvement plans, subdivision maps, and related technical exhibits.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, surveyors, and project managers to interpret plans and incorporate redline markups.
• Prepare topographic maps and manage survey point data for design accuracy.
• Support the design and permitting process across residential, commercial, and municipal projects.
• Occasionally assist with visual presentation materials using Adobe tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

What You Need For This Job

• 3+ years of experience in civil drafting/design, preferably in land development or infrastructure.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and ability to read and interpret engineering plans and markups.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Effective communication skills to work with multidisciplinary teams.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technical software as needed.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or Microsoft Office is a plus.
