FSS Staffing is now hiring a Cherry Picker Operator in Wilkes-Barre, PA
Pay Rate: $17/hr.
Shift: 1 PM - 10 PM

Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cherry Picker / Order Selector to join our team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. As a Cherry Picker / Order Selector, you will be responsible for accurately picking and preparing orders for shipment, using a cherry picker or order selection equipment to retrieve items at various heights within the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
●Safely operate a cherry picker/order selector to retrieve products from elevated storage locations.
●Accurately pick and select items based on order specifications, ensuring the right products are chosen in the correct quantities.
●Load and organize orders for shipment, ensuring quality and accuracy in each order.
●Inspect products for damages or defects and report any issues to the supervisor.
●Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, including the safe handling of equipment and materials.
●Follow all safety guidelines and warehouse procedures while operating the cherry picker or order selector.
●Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and accurate order fulfillment.
●Assist in inventory management and cycle counts as needed.
Qualifications:
●Previous experience operating a cherry picker or order selector is preferred but not required.
●Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking.
●Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and perform repetitive tasks.
●Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
●Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
●Basic math skills for inventory tracking and order picking.
●Must adhere to safety guidelines and maintain safety certifications (if applicable).
