Ready-Mix Driver

Job Requirements: As a Ready-Mix Driver at Advanced Concrete, you will be responsible for delivering concrete to job sites safely and efficiently while maintaining superior customer service. You'll operate trucks equipped with concrete mixing drums, adhere to all safety regulations, and ensure timely deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pre- and Post-trip Inspections: Conducting safety checks of the vehicle to ensure proper function.
• Maintaining Delivery Records: Keeping accurate logs of deliveries, including time and material details.
• Adhering to Load Specifications: Ensuring the correct mix and load of concrete per order.
• Customer Interaction: Providing excellent service at job sites, addressing customer concerns.
• Adapting to Jobsite Conditions: Safely navigating construction sites and responding to varying conditions such as weather or site access challenges.
• Check all load-related documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Inspect loads to ensure that cargo is secure.
• Check vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order.
• Obtain receipts or signatures for delivered goods and collect payment for services when required.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as adding oil, fuel, or radiator fluid, performing minor repairs, or washing trucks.
• Collect delivery instructions from appropriate sources, verifying instructions and routes.
• Drive trucks with capacities greater than 3 tons, including tractor-trailer combinations, to transport and deliver products, livestock, or other materials.

Other Experience and Qualifications:

• CDL Class A or B with airbrakes endorsement.
• Current medical certificate and ability to pass a drug test.
• Prior Ready Mix driving preferred but not required.
