The opportunity

Delaware North Sportservice is hiring for a part-time Catering Coordinator to join our team at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington. As a Catering Coordinator, you will be responsible for working with fellow team members and clients to plan and execute events at Climate Pledge Arena. You will use your organizational and time management skills to create lasting memories for guests attending a variety of events. Get in on the gameday action and apply today!

What will you do?
  • Maintain organized records for catering orders, contracts, invoices, and event details while processing payments and managing office duties
  • Prepare and distribute event paperwork, signage, and scheduling documents to ensure seamless event execution
  • Assist in booking, setting up, tearing down, and executing catered events while ensuring food presentation and service meet industry standards
  • Prepare event paperwork, signage and keep detailed records for each event, including local event days, monthly inventory, and catering supplies
  • Update and distribute banquet event order packets for culinary and management teams
  • Collaborate with the catering manager to build guest relationships and track inventory, supplies, and local event schedules

More about you
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Previous customer service and administrative experience preferred
  • Previous experience writing Banquet Event Orders through Caterease preferred
  • Working knowledge of budgetary practices for events preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to problem solve and operate in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products including Word and Excel

Physical requirements
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ability to occasionally bend, stoop, reach, and kneel.
