Experienced  CAD Designer – Custom Packaging Solutions
Location: San Jose, CA | Full-Time

The Packaging Connection, Inc. ( is a trusted provider of high-quality custom packaging solutions, serving industries such as electronics, medical, aerospace, and defense. We specialize in the design and manufacturing of wooden crates, pallets, and specialty packaging for high-value and delicate equipment.

We are seeking a CAD Designer to join our growing team. This is a key role within our company, contributing directly to the design and engineering of custom packaging that ensures our clients’ products are protected, compliant, and delivered safely.

Responsibilities:

• Create detailed CAD drawings and technical designs for custom wooden crates, pallets, and specialty packaging.

• Translate client specifications into accurate, cost-effective, and manufacturable designs.

• Collaborate with production, sales, and compliance teams to ensure designs meet customer requirements and industry standards.

• Review and revise drawings based on feedback from clients and internal stakeholders.

• Maintain accurate records of designs, revisions, and project files.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of CAD design experience (AutoCAD or similar software required).

• Experience in packaging, woodworking, or related manufacturing fields preferred.

• Strong technical drawing and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
