Job Title: Buyer
Location: Hybrid based in Vancouver, WA (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Contract Duration: 2-4 months
Pay Rate: $30-$35 per hour

 

Job Description:

LHH Recruitment is seeking a motivated and experienced Buyer to join our client's team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in purchasing and procurement, with at least 2+ years of relevant experience. This role requires working onsite in Vancouver, WA, and our client is hoping to identify and get someone started right away.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and procure materials, equipment, and services required for manufacturing operations.

• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to ensure cost-effective purchasing.

• Maintain and manage supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery and quality of goods.

• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production teams to meet demand.

• Analyze market trends and supplier performance to make informed purchasing decisions.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in the agriculture or manufacturing industry.

• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

• Proficiency in using procurement software and tool such as ERP or SAP.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred; High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Pay Details: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour
