Business Office Manager (Administrative) Position Details Title: Business Office Manager Department: Administrative Reports to: Executive Director FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Wage Range: $32.00 - $35.00 General Purpose Supports community operations by maintaining business office systems. Essential Duties Obtain deposits for new move-ins. Assist with managing resident trust, including printing and distributing monthly statements. Maintain census and report status changes. Attend stand-up meetings as requested by the Executive Director. Participate in billing and payment processes, including preparing bank deposits and handling petty cash. Generate monthly billing statements, AR/AP reports, and related duties. Undertake collection activities for bad debts. Assist in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding processes. Handle payroll and HR functions for the community. Track employee credentials, annual education, and other learning tasks through the learning system. Supervisory Requirements May provide or assist with supervision at the discretion of the Executive Director. Qualifications Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent; strong understanding of senior living billing and payments; proficiency in Microsoft Office; preferably one year's experience in a long-term care facility; ability to meet deadlines. Language Skills Ability to read technical procedures, policies, and manuals; effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees. Mathematical Skills Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions; problem-solving skills; ability to interpret instructions in various formats. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Experience with PCC and Workday systems preferred. Physical Demands and Work Environment The position requires prolonged computer use, frequent standing, reaching, talking, hearing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and other physical activities.
