Job Description
Consider joining the team at Deming, Parker, Hoffman, Campbell & Daly, LLC, an established, AV-rated law firm with offices in Atlanta and Savannah.
We are seeking a full-time bankruptcy attorney to represent debtor's in filing Chapter 7 and 13 cases in the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia. This is a hybrid position whereby you will have the opportunity to work from home when you do not need to meet with client's at the office or her in-person hearings. Most of the communication with clients will be done via telephone calls Monday through Friday.
What you’ll be doing:
Using your legal experience and client service skills to determine whether bankruptcy is the right solution for the clients.
Full representation of the client through the bankruptcy process.
Your background:
· J.D. and licensed to practice law in Georgia, ideally with at least 1 full year of practical, bankruptcy legal experience.
· Ability to work remotely during standard business hours.
· Proficient user of Microsoft Suite and practice-related software. Experience with Best Case is a plus.
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to focus on accuracy, details and meeting deadlines and service goals.
This is a salary paid position with the ability to earn a monthly commission based on your billings. Additionally, comprehensive benefits are offered including medical, vision, dental, disability and life insurance, and 401(k) with some employer contribution. Employees receive paid holidays and vacation, in-office CLE, and reimbursed annual Georgia bar dues.
