As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing vehicle diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs with precision and efficiency. • Perform multi-point inspections and diagnose vehicle malfunctions.
• Efficiently repair automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning, following dealership standards.
• Clearly explain mechanical diagnoses and necessary repairs to service advisors and customers in a non-technical manner.
• Provide accurate time estimates for repairs.
• Test-drive vehicles before and after repairs to ensure quality service.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment to assess vehicle components and systems.
• Stay current with new technical information and training sessions.
• Adhere to company regulations and stay informed on recalls and manufacturer updates.
• Report damaged or defective equipment to management.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while reporting any safety concerns.

Qualifications/Requirements - Service Technician:

• Previous experience as a Service Technician or completion of a trade school program required.
• Prior experience as a Service Technician or Express/Lube Technician preferred.
• Strong work ethic and dedication to the role.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and technical information.
• ASE certification preferred.
• Solid mechanical skills with attention to detail.
