Eager Enrichment is seeking a creative and enthusiastic After-School Art Instructor to lead hands-on art classes for elementary students. If you love working with children and have a passion for drawing, using 3-D media, or even clay-this is your chance to turn creativity into impact.

Location: North Royalton

Pay: $35 per class (classes run 1 hour)

Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons

What You'll Do:

• Lead engaging art sessions for Grades K-4 using provided lesson plans and materials.
• Introduce a variety of techniques such as drawing, collage, watercolor and clay projects.
• Encourage self-expression and creative thinking in a supportive, structured setting.
• Manage classroom setup, cleanup, and positive behavior.
• Record attendance and communicate with staff as needed using mobile apps.

Who You Are:

You're a creative, energetic thinker who enjoys working with children - whether through formal teaching or informal experiences like coaching, babysitting, or volunteering. You feel confident leading a small group of up to 18 students, creating a positive, structured, and engaging environment.

Tech-savvy candidates who are comfortable using communication and scheduling apps are especially valued.

Responsibilities:

• Teaching: Lead engaging art classes for an elementary school in North Royalton on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons. You'll use Eager Enrichment's "no-fail" teaching approach, helping students understand that making mistakes is part of the creative process.
• Classroom Management: Create a positive and well-organized learning environment for up to 18 students. Promote respectful behavior and guide students through structured, supportive lessons.
• Communication: Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills. Accurately track attendance and feel confident using apps for scheduling and parent/staff communication.

Requirements:

• Availability: Must be available Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons during the school year and are ongoing now. Classes run one hour each day with no weekend or holiday work (e.g., Spring Break, Thanksgiving).
• Schedule & Commitment: Arrival at the school is required by 3:20 PM. This position includes three classes per week. If you are seeking more than three hours per week, this role may not be a fit.
• Experience: Prior experience working with children (Grades K-4) is preferred, but a strong desire to work with elementary-age students is essential.
• Adaptability: Ability to adjust teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand and walk for up to 60 minutes during classes.
• Tech Savvy: Comfortable using mobile apps for communication and scheduling.
• Transportation: Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from school sites.
• Age Requirement: Candidates must be 18 years of age or older.

We provide all supplies and detailed weekly lesson guides-no lesson planning is required. Paid training is offered at $20 per hour, along with mentorship in our proven teaching method.
