We are seeking an Accounting Analyst to join our team in Lincoln, Rhode Island. In this role, you will be actively involved in overseeing regulatory alerts, ensuring appropriate financial controls and access controls, and conducting compliance testing within our insurance industry setting. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:
• Review regulatory alerts and delegate them to the respective Accounting group for detailed examination.
• Conduct MAR Control testing for Accounting Compliance controls, ensuring compliance across all operations.
• Monitor financial controls and access controls, reviewing results to confirm that alterations were authorized.
• Run and assess audit reports to guarantee that changes were authorized.
• Review logical access reports that capture different access points.
• Complete audit report reconciliation on a monthly basis to ensure daily reports accurately capture all changes.
• Analyze FBDI and Subledger query results to confirm that functionality is not being used without authorization.
• Review Inactive Employee Friday Report to identify any movers/leavers and request access removal or update.
• Monitor changes to integrations and key activity across applications and services.
• Compile user access reports and review for appropriateness as part of a quarterly recertification process.
• Test key system functionality as part of release regression and smoke testing procedures.

Key skills required for this role include proficiency in Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, Ceridian, Concur, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Auditing, and Billing Functions.• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required
• Familiarity with Ceridian would be beneficial
• Ability to use Concur is preferred
• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is required
• Proficiency in Accounting Functions is necessary
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is vital
• Auditing skills are needed
• Proficiency in Billing Functions is a must-have
