We are seeking an Entry Level Accountant to join our non-profit team in Hackensack, New Jersey. In this role, you will handle various accounting functions, including processing accounts payable and accounts receivable, performing account reconciliations, and utilizing QuickBooks for various tasks. This position offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:
• Execute various accounting functions accurately and efficiently
• Utilize accounting software systems, primarily QuickBooks, to perform tasks
• Maintain precise account records and perform account analysis
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable in a timely manner
• Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of records
• Utilize Adobe Acrobat and Dynamics NAV as needed
• Ensure all accounting entries are accurate and up-to-date
• Leverage ERP solutions for better accounting processes
• Maintain account coding to ensure proper categorization of expenses and revenues
• Address any accounting-related inquiries and resolve issues promptly.• Understanding of Account Coding principles and application
• Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems
• Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat for document management
• Experience with Dynamics NAV or similar ERP Solutions
• Ability to perform Account Analysis to monitor financial activities
• Knowledge of Accounting Entries and their impact on financial statements
• Comprehensive understanding of general Accounting Functions
• Experience in Account Reconciliation to ensure financial records are accurate
• Expertise in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and other financial transactions
• Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
